Lateral Economics offers three one or two day media training workshops to benefit to both seasoned performers and people new to the media:

1. Managing the Media. Designed as an introduction to the media for people who are newcomers to the field or who would be expected to generate and respond to media inquiries but not necessarily act as the spokesperson.

2. Mastering Interviews Designed for those who are more experienced with the media or who will be expected to be the on air spokesperson for their organisation.

3. Advanced interview techniques. For people already experienced in media interviews, this course starts with an analysis of participants’ past interview performance, focusing on how they can more effectively utilize their strengths and overcome their weaknesses.

Courses 1 and 2 are frequently run together as two or three day sessions. For all courses, participants receive a written booklet and sample materials. For courses 2 and 3, all participants receive a personalised instructional video drawing on their filmed interviews and additional commentary by the trainer.
